Balenciaga has just opened a 7,000 square feet two levels Flagship store on 92 Yorkville Avenue in Toronto. It has the largest windows storefront in North America and this guarantees the retail space to have an amazing natural light that comes inside on sunny days. This is the first location for the brand in North America to feature a new distressed look. Indeed exposed concrete paneling all around the perimeter of the walls, metallic shelving, modern freestanding and grey curtain give the store this characteristic raw and distressed look. The main floor of the store houses bags and accessories separated from women’s footwear and ready-to-wear. An exposed concrete staircase brings the customers to the second floor which houses men’s ready-to-wear, bags, accessories and footwear. Balenciaga will continue with its Canadian expansion and MGS TRADE will be glad to keep being part of this.
